Nous remontons la tente et sommes pr\u00eats \u00e0 partir assez rapidement. Nous profitons une derni\u00e8re fois du parvis du commissariat pour jouer avec les enfants puis il est temps de partir. Il est 9h30! Une petite route sans bas c\u00f4t\u00e9, des lignes droites, deux murs d&rsquo;arbres. Nous fl\u00e2nons un peu aujourd&rsquo;hui et roulons moins vite que d&rsquo;habitude. Nous arrivons \u00e0 Izamal, c&rsquo;est une ville tr\u00e8s connu pour son ancien couvent enti\u00e8rement peint en jaune et tout le quartier autour du couvent \u00e9galement, ce qui provoque un effet assez particulier et saisissant. Certains disent que c&rsquo;\u00e9tait pour la visite du pape Jean Paul II en 1993, d&rsquo;autres que c&rsquo;est une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au ma\u00efs, tr\u00e8s important dans la culture Maya. C&rsquo;est peut-\u00eatre un peu des deux? Quand \u00e0 la cour du couvent, c&rsquo;est la deuxi\u00e8me plus grande cour ouverte, juste derri\u00e8re celle du Vatican. Nous cherchons un restaurant avant d&rsquo;aller visiter le centre ville et nous tournons un peu dans le quartier. Au hasard de nos d\u00e9tours, nous tombons sur une grosse pyramide maya, en plein milieu de la ville ! Surprenant! Nous ne trouvons pas de restaurant qui nous convienne, aussi, nous partons finalement visiter le centre ville et le fameux couvent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img Aujourd&rsquo;hui, nous allons d\u00e9passer les 4000km! Mais comme \u00e7a arrivera probablement sur la route au milieu de la jungle o\u00f9 on ne pourra pas s&rsquo;arr\u00eater, on le f\u00eate un peu en avance \ud83e\udd2b. Nous commandons comme d&rsquo;habitude malgr\u00e9 les recommandations des serveurs qui nous disent que \u00e7a fait trop&#8230; Et en effet, \u00e7a fait trop! \ud83d\ude06 Nous discutons un peu avec la famille qui g\u00e8re la pizzeria qui nous offre g\u00e9n\u00e9reusement de re-remplir nos bouteilles avant de partir. Une fois de plus, une sorte d&rsquo;\u00e9charde de m\u00e9tal a travers\u00e9 le pneu et la chambre \u00e0 air. Il est temps de changer de pneu pour mettre celui qu&rsquo;on transporte depuis M\u00e2con, il est renforc\u00e9 ! Une fois la r\u00e9paration termin\u00e9e, nous voil\u00e0 repartis. Mais il est tard et on acc\u00e9l\u00e8re le rythme pour arriver \u00e0 la ville vis\u00e9e avant la nuit. Au dernier village avant celui vis\u00e9, je cherche \u00e0 m&rsquo;arr\u00eater pour les 4000km, qui devraient arriver dans le coin. Mais dans le village, nous rencontrons une autre voyageuse \u00e0 v\u00e9lo ! Nous discutons un moment avec Fernanda, originaire d&rsquo;Ushuaia et en voyage depuis 2018! Nous prenons plaisir \u00e0 discuter quelques minutes mais il se fait tard et nous devons tous atteindre notre destination avant la nuit! Nous repartons&#8230; En ayant compl\u00e9tement oubli\u00e9 les 4000km! Tant pis, on v\u00e9rifiera en arrivant, on a plus le temps. Une fois arriv\u00e9s dans la ville, nous faisons comme la veille et allons au commissariat demander si nous pouvons camper sous le d\u00f4me du centre. Ils nous autorisent et c&rsquo;est relax\u00e9s que nous allons chercher de l&rsquo;eau pour ce soir, personne n&rsquo;a vraiment faim, et nous sommes tous fatigu\u00e9s !
